When the airflow passes through the filter membrane, the dust is collected by the membrane. The radiation source emits beta rays to irradiate the filter membrane, and some of the rays are absorbed by the dust. The emitted radiation dose is related to the amount of dust collected on the membrane. The change in radiation dose is measured by a high-sensitivity detector, and then processed by a microcontroller according to the dust measurement requirements. The unit air dust content is displayed on the monitor and directly read on site. The working state of the instrument is automatically controlled by the computer for flow rate. As the amount of dust adsorbed by the filter membrane increases, the pump suction is synchronously increased, and the airflow is automatically maintained at a constant speed to prevent sampling errors caused by changes in airflow.
Using a low-dose beta radiation source, with a radiation dose lower than that of a luminous watch, it is absolutely safe, does not require bulky protective devices, reduces the weight of the entire machine, and is easy to carry.
